About Alfrun
Alfrun Rose is a writer, actor, and producer. Her acting credits include major film, TV, and video game productions, such as Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Dream House, the play… In the summer of 2026, Alfrun was awarded R&D project funding for her new play; Dream House, a dramedy about home ownership, paint colours, and mysterious drafts. Part Changing Rooms, part The Haunting of Hill House, with a backdrop of a climate crisis. An exploration of the concept of home through the relationship between two very different sisters bound together by bricks and mortar.
Dead Air, the play… In the summer of 2025, Alfrun wrote, performed and produced her first solo show, Dead Air, a dark comedy about a resurrection gone wrong. The play has received outstanding critical acclaim, with multiple 4★ & 5★ star reviews and a write up from The Guardian calling it “absorbing storytelling… a female Hamlet.” Dead Air was staged at RVK Fringe, Tjarnarbio, The Hen and Chickens, Playhouse East, Greenwich Theatre, CPH Stage, Act Alone and The Pleasance Theatre at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
